What does the Shopware Shop-Check test?
The Shop-Check analyses your shop's publicly reachable pages across seven modules: platform detection (Shopware 5/6, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento), performance (response time, image formats), SEO basics (title, meta description, canonical, sitemap), broken links and images, a product page sample (Product schema, alt texts), security headers, and AI visibility (blocked AI crawlers, structured data).
Is the Shop-Check really free?
Yes. No signup, no email address, no account. Nothing is stored — the check runs live against your shop and only you see the result.
Does the check work without Shopware?
Yes. It also detects Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento, and all checks (performance, SEO, links, security, AI visibility) apply to any online shop.
What does it mean if AI crawlers are blocked?
If your robots.txt blocks crawlers like GPTBot, ClaudeBot or PerplexityBot, your shop cannot appear as a source in answers from ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity. This is often unintentional — many shops copy blocklists without realising it.
Does the check scan my entire catalog?
No. The free check samples your homepage plus up to two product pages from your sitemap. Catalog-wide auditing of all products, links and media is what our Shopware plugins do inside your admin — with deep links to every finding.
